STUD DOGS

All stud paperwork is given at the time of mating, this includes receipt, contract, a copy of the dogs health tests and a copy of his pedigree. The stud fee is to be paid on first tie, with a repeat mating offered 24/48 hours later. If for any reason there are no pups produced from the matings, 2 FREE repeat matings will be offered on her next season.

We do recommend that bitch owners Progesterone blood test prior to mating. This helps pin point the most appropriate days for mating, reducing stress for your bitch, saving time and money on wasted travel and giving the chance of optimal success.

Arthur is an athletic powerful dog, He is stylish, has a strong hunting ability with a superb nose. Covers ground with ease working pheasant/partridge and grouse well. Very fast and responsive in the field, he is kind and gentle within the kennel/home. Great with kids and other dogs, he shows all the attributes you would want from a fox red Labrador for a family pet or working dog.

Proven sire, producing dark coloured, good sized litters with good splits of dogs and bitches. He is kind and well mannered with all of his visiting bitches, whether maiden or an experienced dam but will get the job done quickly and efficiently reducing stress for any nervous bitches.

He is Kennel Club registered with an excellent pedigree, including plenty of winners and champions . His sire is a show dog and his mother from working lines making an excellent combination..
Hamish is proven at stud, he is very kind to his visiting bitches.
He has a strong head, good bone and a super coat. Coupled with his excellent temperament and attitude he is proving to be a wonderful all-round dog. He currently weighs 13kg.

He passes his super temperament and type onto his puppies, producing all-round, easy going and typey puppies.

Great with other dogs, very sociable. He loves to be around, only ever wanting to please!

As much of his pedigree is from imported lines, Hamish has a COI of 0% making him suitable for most bitch lines.

Hamish is also registered with the UK Teckel Society as a CATEGORY A stud dog so pups sired by him can be both KC and Teckel Society registered.
